Pharmaceutical education has a direct impact upon pharmaceutical and allied industrial growth and the health sector. It is a basic and essential input for the nation's development and for strengthening industry, economy, and the quality of life of people. Keeping this in view, our chairman Shri. Sudhir (Anna) Patil started the Pharmacy College in 1999 in the economically backward Osmanabad region, to generate all-round, globally competitive pharmacists as entrepreneurs, skilled technocrats, researchers, and healthcare professionals.
Pharmaceutics is one of the disciplines in pharmacy that deals with the formulation of a pure drug substance into dosage forms. The subject areas of Pharmaceutics include Pharmaceutical Technology, Physical Pharmacy, and Pharmacokinetics & Biopharmaceutics. The Department has experienced and highly qualified staff members who have been exposed to collaboration with national and international universities, institutions, and companies.
