Admission Process
Eligibility Screening
Application scrutiny against minimum qualifying marks and NET/SET/GATE/GPAT exemption criteria as per university norms.
Entrance Test (PET)
University-conducted Ph.D. Entrance Test assessing research aptitude and subject knowledge, unless exempted under UGC norms.
Research Proposal Presentation
Shortlisted candidates present a preliminary research outline before the Departmental Research Committee.
Interview & Allotment
Personal interview followed by allotment of research supervisor and provisional registration with the University.
Eligibility Criteria
As per the Ph.D. Ordinance of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University and applicable UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations.
Candidates holding a valid UGC-NET, SET, GATE or GPAT score are exempted from the University's Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) but are still required to appear for the research proposal presentation and interview.
